Boswellia Serrata is a tree native to India, North Africa and the Middle East. Strips of bark are peeled away in a sustainable manner, yielding a gummy oleo-resin that contains oils, terpenoids, and gum resin. The gum resin from boswellia has been used extensively in traditional and Ayurvedic medicine to treat a wide variety of conditions.
Also known as frankincense, boswellia is best known for supporting joint health.
