Viridian Folic Acid with DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is designed to be taken before and during pregnancy. Folic acid is recommended by the Government’s Chief Medical Officers for all women planning a pregnancy. They advise a daily supplement when trying to conceive until at least the 12th week of pregnancy. Viridian Folic Acid with DHA contains 400ug of folic acid which is the recommended level.

Folic acid (folate) is a member of the vitamin B complex family which contributes to a reduction in tiredness and fatigue, the normal function of the immune system, normal psychological function, and the processes of normal homocysteine metabolism, amino acid synthesis, cell division and blood formation.

Viridian Folic Acid with DHA also provides 10mg of DHA. This omega 3 essential fatty acid, when taken during pregnancy contributes to normal brain and eye development of the foetus.
