About Viridian Viridikid Omega 3 Oil
A fish-free Omega 3 oil supplement designed especially for kids. Flax seed and hemp seed are both incredibly rich sources of omega 3 essential fatty acids, and are also rich in omegas 6 and 9. Pumpkin seed oil provides additional fatty acids, and also several carotenoids, including beta carotene and lutein. Avocados are the highest fruit source of vitamin E, an important nutrient that acts in synergy with essential fatty acids and
contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Viridian Viridikid Omega 3 oil provides alpha linolenic acid, which can be metabolised by the body to create the fatty acids DHA and EPA. These are important additions in any diet, and especially for children as DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and normal brain function. Omega 3s can be obtained through a diet that is high in fish, nuts, and seeds. This supplement is an easy and fuss-free way to make sure your children are getting enough of these important nutrients. How to use
As a children’s food supplement, age 1-2 = 1tsp. age 2-6 = 2tsp. age 6+ = 3tsp. taken daily with food. Do not exceed stated dose unless recommended by your healthcare practitioner. Store in a cool dry place out of the reach of children. Once open keep refrigerated and use within 6 weeks. Not to be used during pregnancy or lactation unless recommended by a healthcare practitioner This is a food supplement, not to be used as a substitute for a varied diet and lifestyle.
