Meet our spiced tahini & banana smoothie! You might think tahini in a smoothie is just plain wrong, but we love it – the flavour is subtle and it adds a delicious creaminess to any smoothie. We’ve also added cinnamon, cardamom and turmeric to this one for a spicy, warming hit of yumminess.
Spiced tahini banana smoothie:
Serves 1
- 200 almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp oats
- 1 tbsp tahini (we use Meridian’s)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (our favourite is from Rooted Spices but any will do!)
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp cardamom
- 1 medjool date (we sell Zayoun dates and love them!)
Place all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth and creamy!
